I'd like to preface this by saying...I don't really look like this...nor do I have a bird.

What I AM...is a children's book illustrator who turns 29 in one month.

With this decade of my life coming to an end, I find myself fascinated with the amount of things that happened to me in my 20's and am setting out to document what I can remember...


...in a sketchbook.

Many artists give themselves sketchbook challenges to keep the momentum going. This is my challenge.

I aim to sketch and post every week starting on May 14th, 2010. My 29th birthday.

I hope you'll follow along, if only to see some drawings. :)
