Memory #20: My 2nd Apartment

My second apartment...
I lived here for less than one year during a very difficult and transitional period in my life. I was around the age of 20-21 and I made a decision that completely changed the path of my life in Boston. It gave way to a too depressing time for me to go into detail (nothing illegal - come on people!) but all I can say is this:
Never ever lose track of who you are and what you stand for. Life is too short.
I am very lucky to have such forgiving friends who can understand a total mental breakdown when they see one.
This image shows a character 'walking away,' but it wasn't quite over yet.

  10. I think this age is Tough! Just like Kathy said. I was out in LA trying to break into animation- so scared-so riddled w/ self doubt. -But we all come thru... a little bruised..a little wiser- a little smarter.. and way better at art!

  12. Just catching up with all your posts on here...you could write
(and illustrate!) a book! There's humor(that wine bottle incident...too funny!) sadness, and lessons learned that have helped you grow into your great self ! Great work Renee! :)

  13. Love the monochromatic feel. Maybe this character is walking toward a goal that she will no doubt achieve.

  14. I really appreciate all of your feedback. I mostly can't believe everyone is actually reading what I write :) It's hard for me to fit so many memories into such a short amount of text.

Thank you all SO much. I can't wait to keep going :)
